Folga Bay

This starts in the village of Luz and ends at the port of Bay Respite. As you walk you can see the pastures and can find the hood tomatoes and edible berries plant with a very pleasant taste. In the days of good visibility, it is possible São Jorge, Pico and Faial. And near the coast are examples of Cubres (Solidago sempervirens) and Bracelet Rock (Festuca petraea).

Serra Branca – Praia

It begins with the access path to the White Mountain Wind Farm and ends at the beach, crossing the west coast to the east coast of the island. In this we see the peak of Caldeirinhas, the set of higher volcanic cones of Serra Blanca. Traveling to Vila da Praia, you can see the islet Praia.

Back to Caldeira – Furna Sulphur

This begins and ends near Canada Long starting to rise to the sulfur cave, and the best time to observe the cavern is between 11h and 14h at the time that the solar rays entering therein. This trail runs through the Forest Park Caldeira, a protection zone.
