Elevador Faja dos Padres

Panoramic Elevator of Faja dos Padres – a means of transport that allows a view from the side of the cliff to Faja dos Padres, which are wine-growing plantations for over 250 meters. It also guarantees access to the bathing area and the existing restaurant, also accessible by sea. The lift operates every day from 10h00 to 18h00.

Teleferico Fajas Cabo Girao

Cable car of Fajãs Cabo Girao “Ranch” – connects the Site Ranch and Fajãs Cape Girao, through a scenic trip on Madeira terraces. Initially used as transport by farmers in Quinta Grande, to reach the sues farmland. FORNO DA CAL

Oven of Cal – in the year 1874, this was built by Roque Teixeira de Agrela, considered World Heritage Site by the Regional Government. The lime production came from the need to satisfy multiple tasks from the daily tasks to construction. The Oven of Câmara de Lobos Cal is the site of the trench, having undergone restoration work and adaptation in 1914 and 1960, remaining active until the 70s, ceasing its activity both by importing lime already transformed and both the complaints of the population because of its odor and smoke that resulted from laboring. In 1983, the Câmara de Lobos City Council purchased the space and currently this is part of the project “Front Câmara de Lobos Sea”, which includes the Salinas and the area of the trench.

Museu da Imprensa da Madeira

CAPELA DE NOSSA SENHORA DA CONCEIcaO
