São Vicente

On the north coast of the island of Madeira, the municipality of São Vicente and comprises the parishes of Boaventura, Ponta Delgada and São Vicente. The name of the parish of São Vicente originates from a reminder that the first settlers had during its descent to the San Vicente Valley and observed numerous crows overfly them and remembered the Spanish martyr named São Vicente.
