Ponte de Barca

In the heart of Vale do Lima, Ponte de Lima presents with a unique beauty and characterized as the oldest town in Portugal, it enchants with its legends and deep roots. In 1125, it was awarded the charter at the behest of Queen Teresa, who designated as Bridge of Earth, and years later, Pedro I sent fortify this village because of its geostrategic position, becoming a walled medieval town and accompanied pro nine towers, which currently only remain two six doors leading to the village.

Terceiros Museum

Stemming from the seventies of the last century, this was later created the restoration works in Ponte de Lima Mother and after understanding the lack of space, which stimulated the creation of Limiano Institute, which housed the sacred art of booty. Rural Museum of Ponte de Lima

Diogo Bernardes Theatre

Old Chain tower
